Table Manners - Sydney
TABLE MANNERS
I have discovered my new favourite local bar/restaurant in Sydney - Table Manners!
Location : 1/56-60 Macpherson Street, Bronte, NSW.
We dined on Sydney rock oysters with mignonette (and the cutest little bottle of hot sauce with which I did not dabble), Iggy’s sourdough slices with healthy lobs of salted butter, and Aligot (cheesy mashed potato) croquettes with rocket pesto, and a bottle of pinot gris from Catalina Sounds in Marlborough, New Zealand. You can imagine how well all of this went down on one of Sydney’s signature 32°C Fridays. As Table Manners says - “lick your plate”.
You know I am sensitive to beautiful things, which means I was immediately drawn to their wine menu - red pebbled leather with their logo embossed on the cover. The plates have a tiny image of a person licking their plate which is so fun. They also have Ellison Studios Huggy Chairs in Malibu Caramel tufted velvet located in their lounge space. This is a real selling point for me. Personally, I believe that it’s the tiny details that make a space.
The wait staff are cultured and experienced, often stopping for a quick chat in between their BUSY service. Although a relatively new restaurant, they’ve got it down. We didn't have to wait for a wine top up once! Do yourselves a favour and visit the team at Table Manners. I will be.
Stray beautiful,
BEAR.
